We've been trying to do more fun things during the weekends that I can't do on my own with the boys. The boys have been watching all the boats on the Seine and have been asking to go on one, so we did this weekend. It was an hour tourist tour. I found ones for kids that looked really cute, but they are all in French, so we went with an adult one with lots of language options.
On one rainy day we had planned to meet some friends at a park but it was not possible. So we had to improvise. We made a fort for only boys and had a picnic. The boys really enjoyed it!
Then we hired a babysitter and Brian and I went out for lunch without kids. It was super yummy. We also used the time to do some errands without them too. Things are quite expensive here, a buzz cut for Brian was 28euro! Crazy.
Its been raining quite a bit here lately. So we've had to stay inside a lot this week. I've enlisted the boys help with some chores. They are very happy to help actually! So here they are helping me mop :)
On Friday it was finally sunny so we tried out a new park, Jardin du Luxembourg. We didn't get to see all of it. But we did get to sail some boats! It was a lot of fun! Caleb chose a pirate ship and Elias chose the ship with an Australian flag. We also tried out a new bus that is the same line that we will take to go to Elias's school. We found that bus is super efficient, but it doesn't come as often as the metro, so sometimes we've had to wait up to 15 minutes, which is not so fun with squirmy boys.

School doesn't start here until the end of next week. So the big boys are in vacation Bible school this week. But we did get to see Elias's preschool today which was nice. It's located in the church where the Bible school is, but is not affiliated with the church. Elias seems pretty excited about it!
